Abstract

|
The statical observation was done on the third stage hemorrhage and the various clinical aspect of 400 cases of labor handled at the Chonnam University Hospital. The analysis was directed to the two groups with and without prenatal care of 187 cases prenatal care(45.8%). The abnormal hemorrhage was noted in 16 cases (3.2%), while 13 cases (5.7%) abnormal hemorrhage was observed in 213 cases without prenatal care. There could be recognized no significant difference between the two groups, on the parity, duration of labor and placental delivery, weight of placenta and infant, gestation age and complication of labor.
